Export orders come with an extensive documentation burden -- customs clearance requires a specific set of documents for every shipment, all of which were being produced manually in Excel. We built a custom export order management platform that automated the process end to end.
The problem
Every export order for Ixoreal required creating and maintaining a set of compliance documents for customs clearance. The process was entirely manual, involving multiple Excel files, significant supervision, and extensive cross-checking at each step. Any error in documentation could delay shipment. The volume and complexity of export orders made this unsustainable as the business grew.
What we built
A custom export order management platform. Customers place orders through a client portal. The Ixoreal team reviews, processes, approves, and executes orders from a single interface.
Most customs clearance documents are generated automatically within the platform based on order data, eliminating the manual document production process. Payment tracking, shipping status, and delivery confirmation are all managed in one place. All documents are stored and accessible for future reference.
